Greater Noida: Ganga water is now available in 52 out of 58 sectors in Greater Noida, benefiting residents across the area. This includes most of Greater Noida West, with only a few sectors still waiting for full supply.

Currently, areas like Eta 2, Techzone, and Xu 3 in Greater Noida, along with sectors 2, 4, and 16C in Greater Noida West, are awaiting complete coverage. Construction of underground reservoirs (UGRs) in these regions, with capacities ranging from 1,500 KL to 3,600 KL, is expected to address this.

The ongoing supply covers 339 MLD of water demand, with 374 MLD currently being provided, including 100 MLD of Ganga water mixed with groundwater. Once fully operational, the project will supply 210 MLD of Ganga water, reducing dependency on groundwater.

In addition, 100% Ganga water is now provided to sectors like Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, and 67 out of 122 villages under GNIDA have been connected. The Rs 848 crore project, launched in 2005 and inaugurated by CM Yogi Adityanath in November 2022, is set to benefit over 10 lakh residents across Greater Noida.
